Horizon Ministries

Horizon's Sunday Service

Horizon's weekend service is on Sundays, starting at 10:00 a.m.

Our worship service is casual but hard-hitting with thematic biblical teaching and excellent music.  Messages are supplemented by contemporary media presentations and designed to help both believers and those exploring Christianity discover how following Jesus Christ makes all the differenc.

This Sunday's Message

This Sunday's message, on Sunday, March 2, will be, "What's True About Me Because of Jesus."

This message contains the singular truth about what happens in an individual's life as a result of having faith in Jesus Christ.  It is revolutionary stuff.

Marchs Second Sunday

Second Sundays are when the Horizon family gathers in the Horizon Cafe after the morning service to enjoy a meal together.
The theme for March's Second Sunday, which will be on Sunday, March 9, is Tex-Mex.
Whether you bring something to share or not, please come and join the fun and fellowship.

After-Morning-Service Bible Study

We meet on most Sundays after the morning service for a Bible study in Horizon's Cafe.

The Bible studies run from 11:20 a.m. until 12:10 p.m. and are focused on topics of interest to those who attend.

Right now, we are looking at how to read the Bible and understand it.  Pastor Jim is giving us insights into how the Bible works and how we can get more out of our reading of it.

English Classes At Horizon

Every Monday and Wednesday, Horizon is the site for English classes for those whose primary language is Spanish.

The classes start at 5:00 p.m. and last until 6:30 p.m.

We have classes from beginner to advanced.

Contact us if you would like to begin or continue learning English OR if you want to volunteer to be a teacher.  (Being a teacher is both easy and fun.  You don't have to even know Spanish to teach the upper levels of English!)

Lenten Community Service

Horizon is hosting the first in a series of community services in Lent that are sponsored by the Bremen Ministerial Association.

On Sunday evening, March 9, at 7 p.m., Horizon will welcome those from other churches in our community.  The service will focus on some themes of Lent, including repentance and preparation for living the resurrection life.
