Horizon’s innovative weekend service meets on Saturdays at 6 p.m.

 

Some of the reasons for meeting on Saturday evenings rather than Sunday mornings are:

  1. It is an easier fit into busy schedules.
  2. One less day to get the kids up.
  3. Frees up Sunday to be a real day of rest.
  4. It fits with Horizon’s “come-as-you-are” style.
  5. Friends can come to church and then go out and do something else.  (And then sleep in on Sunday!)

 

“Saturdays @ 6” has:

    • Great music
    • A message that hits home and has great “take-aways”
    • A casual style
    • A friendly atmosphere that helps people feel welcome

Book Study on Tuesdays

Horizon is gathering on Tuesday nights from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., to discuss the book, "So You Don't Want to Go to Church Anymore," by Wayne Jacobsen and Dave Coleman.

These discussions will take place in the Horizon Cafe.  Anyone can come!

Horizon's cafe is open for coffee and other drinks at 5:00 p.m. before each weekend's "Saturdays @ 6."

You can take advantage of the opportunity to share your life with others as you enjoy good refreshments and good fellowship before coming upstairs to joyfully worship the Lord!
